Bolivia Gold Supply Chain Compliance Field Visit | Rothschild Compliance

This week, I had the opportunity to conduct a compliance field visit in Bolivia alongside the Rothschild Compliance team.

Bolivia has significant potential in mining, gold trading and exports. Visiting operations on the ground reinforces the importance of robust traceability, clear documentation and effective compliance controls throughout the gold supply chain.

It is encouraging to see clients, communities and trading companies strengthening their processes for responsible sourcing, KYC and AML compliance, while working toward alignment with LBMA expectations.

I am grateful to contribute to this work with a strong local counterpart in Bolivia and, as always, to visit such a remarkable country.
